Position Overview

We are currently hiring an Electronics Assembler / Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards in a clean and quality-focused production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with both through-hole and surface-mount soldering, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components using microscopes and precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and subassemblies according to specifications
• Perform through-hole and SMT soldering using hand soldering equipment
• Install wiring, connectors, and electronic components
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rework defective assemblies when necessary
• Read and follow assembly instructions, schematics, and production documentation
• Adhere to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards and company quality procedures
• Use microscopes, magnifiers, and hand tools to complete precision assembly tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support production goals while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in electronics assembly and soldering required
• Experience with through-hole and/or surface-mount technology (SMT) soldering
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Ability to work with very small components under magnification
• Comfortable performing repetitive assembly work with a high level of accuracy
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the shift
