Assistant General Manager Location: 16224 N FM 620, Austin, TX 78717. Compensation: $18.25 - $20.00 per hour. Full-time Employee. How You Will Drive Success Work directly with the General Manager to promote revenue growth by increasing guest count and lead measures such as core sales mix, MultiCare, and Core Plus. Coach and execute excellent customer service to create outstanding guest experiences. Set a positive example and build team engagement and efficiency. Develop teammates through internal training, guidance, coaching, and direction. Enforce quality control measures and processes. Perform inventory, cash handling, guest issue resolution, and other duties as required. Assist with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, and expense controls. Ensure the center remains clean, safe, and presentable per the Guide to Excellence (GTE). Provide guidance and mentoring to automotive technicians and CSA’s. Perform opening and closing duties when the GM is absent. Maintain an engaged workforce reflecting customer volume and business needs. Lead daily team huddles and store meetings, setting direction for business goals. Manage inventory and product orders to meet business needs. Hold everyone accountable to safety and productivity rules and regulations. Assist guests with questions and needs via in-person, electronic, or telephone channels. Under the Hood – What You’ll Need 1-3 years of retail management experience; professional automotive experience not required. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. A proven leader who can inspire and motivate diverse groups. Sound business sense and comprehensive understanding of the retail industry. Ability to analyze, comprehend, and recommend financial objectives that increase sales and service results. A positive, helpful attitude and professional conduct and appearance at all times. Enjoys and is energized by a fast-paced, flexible, high-performance retail environment. “Guest First” mindset. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods. Work in hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes. Lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Perform all other duties as assigned. Must be at least 18 years of age.
