Valle Vista offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.Position Summary: The Certified Music Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned programs, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction and role modeling to patients.Requirements:Education/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, education, criminal justice or other social service or therapeutic discipline.Certification: Must have an MT-BC certification (Music Therapist Board Certified).Experience: One (1) year related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric and/or substance use disorder patient care techniques.
