This vital role focuses on providing comprehensive primary care services, including patient evaluation, treatment, ordering diagnostics, and managing a variety of cases such as adult primary care, diabetes, hypertension, women's health, and pain management. The schedule typically involves daytime shifts, running from 8:00am to 4:30pm CST. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients. Perform patient evaluation and treatment. Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and electrocardiographic examinations. Prescribe and manage medications effectively. Engage in discussions regarding end-of-life preferences and advanced care planning. Facilitate and conduct consultations with sub-specialists as needed. Manage patient discharge processes, ensuring appropriate follow-up care is arranged. Perform minor procedures such as abscess incision and drainage. Conduct fecal occult blood testing. Manage a diverse range of adult primary care cases, including diabetes, hypertension, women's health, and pain management.
