Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract in Knoxville, TN, requiring a TN or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.

• Position is based in a hospital Emergency Services department in Knoxville, TN
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio is 4:1 (variable)
• Total patient care model
• EMR: Cerner
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• No 48-hour shifts

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS required prior to start date
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP required within 90 days of start
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Cerner EMR experience
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration and must be discussed at the time of interview
• Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
