Diagnostic Radiologist - Monroeville, Pennsylvania Position Overview

Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology
Location: Monroeville / Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Required Fellowship: Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal (MSK), or Neuroradiology
Practice Setting: Academic-affiliated, multi-hospital health system
Visa Sponsorship: Available

Schedule & Availability

Shift Options (Eastern Time):
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Weekend Coverage: 12 weekends per year, covered remotely
Post-Call Recovery: Post-call day off the week before or after weekend coverage
Paid Time Off: 9 weeks annually
Alternative Schedule: 1 week on / 1 week off may be accommodated
Work-Life Balance: Multiple shift options and generous PTO

Licenses & Certifications

Education: MD or equivalent
Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Radiology
Fellowship: Required in Body Imaging, MSK, or Neuroradiology
State Licensure: Must be able to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
Visa Sponsorship: Available

Clinical Responsibilities & Practice Details

General diagnostic radiology coverage with subspecialty interpretation.
Emergency department generalist shifts.
Coverage across community hospitals, trauma centers, and outpatient imaging centers.
Supported by a dedicated team of Reading Room Assistants.
Opportunity to teach residents and participate in research, if desired; neither is required.
Leadership development opportunities available for qualified and interested candidates.

Incentive Compensation: Quarterly productivity bonuses for work above 12,000 RVUs.

Part of an academic radiology department with more than 200 radiologists.
Clinical appointment with an affiliated university Department of Radiology.
Coverage includes multiple Level I and Level II trauma centers and outpatient imaging facilities.
