Senior Cloud Security Engineer

To safeguard sensitive data within cloud environments, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security measures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks, all in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Design and maintain comprehensive security controls for cloud infrastructure and applications Lead security hardening efforts, including IAM, network segmentation, and container security Monitor cloud security incidents and conduct root cause analysis to enhance security posture Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or application security Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM preferred Proficiency in scripting and automation tools like Python or Terraform
