Supervisor Imaging

Job Overview PeaceHealth is seeking a Supervisor, Imaging, full‑time, 1.00 FTE, day position. Salary range: $58.70 – $88.04. Hiring rate depends on education, training, work experience, collective bargaining agreements, seniority, and other factors. Job Summary Responsible for monitoring overall services, developing quality and performance indicators, gathering data for analysis, ensuring continuous improvement to optimize services and stewardship of resources, and handling staffing and scheduling. Essential Functions Link mission into day‑to‑day work, focus on meeting organization/departmental targets, monitor budget variances, recommend or develop improvement plans, and assure regulatory compliance. Recommend selection of staff, monitor and evaluate performance and accountability, evaluate competence and initiate performance improvement plans, provide meaningful and constructive feedback, and initiate disciplinary actions when necessary. Work with leadership to assist in developing policies, procedures, and enhancements to service delivery and department operations. Communicate and teach new policies and procedures to staff. Promote problem identification, facilitate resolution, follow up, and communicate as necessary. Provide input on operational and capital budgets, and participate in budget planning and monitoring. Has basic knowledge of multiple imaging modalities (CT, US, MRI, X‑ray, Special Procedures/Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Lab, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Mammography as applicable). Responsible for selection, training, and performance compliance with accreditation, legal and regulatory requirements. Act as liaison for physicians and staff. May perform duties of an Imaging Technologist as needed, based on license/registration/certification. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Associate of Science required: Radiology ARDMS, NMTCB, and/or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience Minimum 2 years related experience in area of licensure. Preferred: Previous leadership training and experience. Credentials Required: Radiology Technologist - Washington current license/registration/certification required by the State. Required: Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Registration current license/registration/certification required by State. Required: ARRT – Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Required: ARRT – Radiography. Required: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification. Required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Required: Basic Life Support upon hire. Skills Strong administrative, organizational, and problem‑solving skills (Required). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Required). Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and clinical applications (Required). Working Conditions Consistently operates computer and other office equipment. Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or negligible force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects. Primarily sedentary work. Predominantly operates in an office environment, with some time spent on site in a medical/hospital setting. Requires close visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
