A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its experienced trial and appellate team. The firm represents professionals, hospitals, and public-service entities, with a particular focus on medical and hospital liability.
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft and argue civil motions.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare written legal arguments.
- Prepare cases for trial, including discovery, pleadings, motions, and trial strategy.
- Collaborate with experienced trial and appellate attorneys.
- Provide high-quality legal representation and strategic support to clients.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of litigation experience preferred.
- Strong legal research and written and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting and arguing civil motions.
- Experience taking and defending depositions.
- Experience preparing cases for trial.
- Active admission to the Oregon Bar required.
- Washington Bar admission is a plus.
- Strong professionalism, judgment, and commitment to legal excellence.
