We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Representative to join our team.What You'll Be DoingRecruitingOnboardingAssisting with Benefits AdministrationTraining supportComplianceJob Summary: The primary function of the HR Representative is to assist the Human Resources Department in administering various human resource programs, including, but not limited to: Attendance, Employee Relations, Compensation, Records Retention, Benefits, Worker's Compensation, Short and Long Term Disability, Recruitment, Policies and Procedures, Employee Opinion Survey, Administration, Communications, Retirement preparation, and company events for all employees while ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State labor laws.Essential Functions:AbsenteeismRecruitment: including- Develop and place recruitment ads, work with local high schools/tech schools to develop a training program for trades, schedule interviews, conduct background checks etc.Schedule and plan new hire orientationsEmployee record keeping and filing (seniority, pay, addresses, benefits, etc.)Assist with the administration of various employee-health, welfare, EAP, and retirement plansMaintain Internal Bidding system for hourly employeesHiring – Full-time /Seasonal (job advertisement, orientation, Workday, UKG, benefits, background checks, etc.)Headcount reportingProvide Negotiations support.Affirmative Action Plan data gathering and reportingMass Mailings to employees and retirees regarding benefits, etc.Back up for the HR SpecialistPerform administrative HR tasks and other duties as assignedValues: Care, Dare and DeliverWhat You'll Bring to the RoleMinimum Acceptable Qualifications:2-4 years' experience in Human ResourcesAssociate or bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant experience.Administrative and clerical – 5 yearsMicrosoft Office Software – demonstrated proficiencyCommunications Skills – Manufacturing EnvironmentAdditional Desirable Qualifications:Good communication skills, verbal, non-verbal and writtenMust be organized and be able to work on their ownAbility to prioritizeMulti-tasking skillsConfidentialityAbility for maintaining accuracy while dealing with numerous interruptionsRequires lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 25 lbs.What We Offer in Return: Our products are only as good as the people we hire, so we make sure to hire the best and treat them accordingly.
