Design Program Manager

Our team is looking for a specialist Design Program Manager with extensive experience in Agile Program Management & preferably UX Design. Responsibilities include providing design program leadership to one or more design teams, partnering with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Delivery, User Research, Content Design, Visual Design. Excellent communicator and effectively manages scope and priorities for the team, negotiates trade-offs, and improve collaboration with external partners. Good track record of managing medium to complex programs, operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner. Actively identifies & manage risks, issues, and escalations in partnership with design team and stakeholders. Cultivate strong relationships with partners and stakeholders and serve as a dependable design representative across cross-functional teams. Facilitate backlog grooming and design planning with Product Management and Design. Manage burn down and integrate with Engineering on PI release trains. Drive demos, report on burn downs, and escalate risks to resolution. Manages ambiguity and priorities & negotiates tradeoffs for the team.

Qualifications include minimum 3-5 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or as a Design Producer. Experience working with creative teams a plus. First Level University degree. Proven experience in managing programs, projects, across multiple teams and functions to deliver outcomes specified in the original business case. Ability to pull together information and create high level roadmaps with key deliverables. Experienced in managing & collaborating with teams located in different time zones. Experience in Program Management of B2C, B2B applications preferred. SAFe/Scrum/Agile certification required; PMP a plus. Experience in JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence, other Project Management tools. An ability to engage and influence people at all levels, including senior leadership. In depth understanding of agile processes, & methodology & critical project management techniques. This role will report to Design Program Management Lead within the Consumer Services Global Experience Design.
