Role Overview As a software engineer at Maxima, you’ll work on building and improving core parts of our product, with a primary focus on either backend or frontend development. Backend‑focused engineers will work on systems that handle high‑volume financial data, accounting workflows, and the infrastructure that powers our agentic AI platform. Frontend‑focused engineers will build intuitive, reliable user experiences for complex enterprise workflows, working closely with product and design. Regardless of focus, you’ll collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and customers to ship high‑quality features end to end. We value engineers who take ownership, care deeply about correctness and reliability, and enjoy working on challenging, real‑world problems.
