We are an independently owned outpatient orthopedic clinic in La Verne, CA, with a supportive, team-oriented environment and a diverse patient population. This is a

full-time PTA position

with the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients including pelvic floor and orthopedic, patients. We are also offering an opportunity for pelvic floor training for a PTA who is interested in developing skills in this area. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, motivated, dependable, and enjoys working collaboratively with both patients and fellow clinicians.

Job Summary As a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations. In this position, you will assist DPTs in implementing treatment plans, supporting patient recovery, and enhancing mobility. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities Assist DPTs in developing and executing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assist with modalities to promote healing and mobility. Support patients during therapy sessions by providing clear instructions and encouragement to maximize engagement and outcomes. Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately following clinical documentation standards. Maintain medical documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) systems in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy. Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation practices to ensure accurate record-keeping. Skilled in manual therapy techniques and other physiotherapy interventions. Excellent caregiver communication and client communication skills to foster trust and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey. Familiarity with physical therapy treatment implementation across diverse populations; experience with pelvic floor care/treatment is a plus.
