AR Specialist

A/R Specialist is responsible for all transportation billing functions, along with identifying, analyzing, and solving billing discrepancies.

Essential Job Functions:

• $18 - $21 based on performance and bonus opportunity
• Compile and review weekly data used to generate, create and bill customers in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring each invoice is billed according to the specifications outlined in each customer's contract
• Perform secondary invoicing in customers portals/websites and provide documentation as needed by customer
• Release driver pay/settlements for each load in accordance with invoicing making sure all paperwork required has been received
• Create daily/weekly excel spreadsheet for driver payroll and invoicing review
• Demonstrate a team effort by contributing to department goals and accomplishing individual goals as required
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success and expectations of the department
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager

Basic Qualifications:

Familiar with Excel, Microsoft office and Word*

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:* Knowledge of the transportation industry Knowledge of TMW Transportation systems*

Education and/or Experience: 1-2 years transportation experience 1-2 years billing experience

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle and/or normal office environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
