Electronic Technician

Job TitleRepairs various home and automotive electronic equipment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned. Some or all of the following duties may apply, based on your technical level.Some soldering of SMT (Surface Mount Component) chip components may be required.The ability to document findings and report them to manufacturers.Ensure proper data integrity by performing clerical duties as they relate to repairs.Be an active participant in the essential functions of the position, including recommendations for improvement.Perform software updates.Diagnose and repair units in accordance with standard procedures.Promote and adhere to core values.Comply with policies and procedures, and quality systems.Perform other related duties as requested.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Level of experience is determined by position being considered for: QC/Apprentice Technician - someone with little or no electronics experience/training working toward a master position. Master Technician - experienced in all aspects of electronics.Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
