Husband-and-wife team Andrew and Chef Dani built Call Your Mother around one simple idea: people deserve incredible food made by people who give an F. YOU'LL CRUSH THIS ROLE IF...

• You have 2-5 years experience leading sanitation programs in a commercial kitchen, commissary, or food manufacturing environment.
• You have strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, FDA Food Code, OSHA regulations, and food safety best practices.
• You care deeply about food safety and take pride in doing things the right way, every time.
• You notice the details because you know the smallest oversight can become the biggest problem.
• You lead by example and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves alongside your team.
• You stay calm under pressure and know how to solve problems before they become bigger ones.
• You're an organized communicator who can coach others while keeping detailed records.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR DAY

No two shifts are exactly alike, but you might:

• Build beautiful sandwiches that guests can't wait to eat.
• Lead the daily cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and food-contact surfaces.
• Coach, train, and develop the sanitation team while promoting accountability and food safety.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure production areas are clean, sanitized, and ready for the day's work.
• Ensure sanitation procedures meet HACCP, GMP, SSOP, FDA Food Code, OSHA, and company standards.
• Verify proper preparation and use of cleaning chemicals, sanitizer concentrations, and required contact times.
• Maintain sanitation logs, cleaning records, chemical usage documentation, and compliance paperwork.
• Investigate sanitation issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support internal food safety audits and continuously improve sanitation processes.
• Monitor pest prevention practices and partner with vendors when needed.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and train team members on safe chemical handling and PPE requirements.
• Identify workplace hazards and help create a cleaner, safer production environment every day.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reading, and communicating effectively; standing, walking, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive physical movements; lifting up to 50 pounds; and safely operating equipment and tools using manual dexterity. This role also requires working in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures, and occasionally working in confined spaces. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.

No hay dos turnos exactamente iguales, pero podrías:

• Preparar sándwiches espectaculares que nuestros invitados no puedan esperar para probar.
• Liderar la limpieza y sanitización diarias de las áreas de producción, los equipos y las superficies en contacto con alimentos.
• Capacitar, entrenar y desarrollar al equipo de sanitización mientras promueves la responsabilidad y la inocuidad alimentaria.
• Realizar inspecciones previas a la operación para garantizar que las áreas de producción estén limpias, sanitizadas y listas para el trabajo del día.
• Asegurar que los procedimientos de sanitización cumplan con HACCP, GMP, SSOP, el Código Alimentario de la FDA, las normas de OSHA y los estándares de la empresa.
• Verificar la preparación y el uso adecuados de los productos químicos de limpieza, las concentraciones de los desinfectantes y los tiempos de contacto requeridos.
• Mantener registros de sanitización, registros de limpieza, documentación sobre el uso de productos químicos y documentación de cumplimiento.
• Investigar problemas de sanitización, identificar las causas raíz e implementar acciones correctivas.
• Apoyar las auditorías internas de seguridad alimentaria y mejorar continuamente los procesos de saneamiento .
• Supervisar las prácticas de prevención de plagas y colaborar con los proveedores cuando sea necesario.
• Garantizar el almacenamiento, etiquetado y manejo adecuados de los productos químicos de limpieza y los suministros de sanitización.
• Mantener las Hojas de Datos de Seguridad (SDS) y capacitar al equipo sobre el manejo seguro de productos químicos y los requisitos del equipo de protección personal (EPP).
• Identificar los riesgos en el lugar de trabajo y ayudar a crear un entorno de producción más limpio y seguro cada día.

REQUISITOS FÍSICOS

Las exigencias físicas de este puesto incluyen la capacidad de ver, escuchar, hablar, leer y comunicarse de manera efectiva; permanecer de pie, caminar, alcanzar objetos, agacharse y realizar movimientos físicos repetitivos; levantar hasta 50 libras; y operar de manera segura equipos y herramientas utilizando destreza manual.
