About the Role
We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join a large-scale modernization initiative within a leading financial institution's Connected Commerce Payments team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS technologies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Spring Boot
- Microservices Architecture
- REST API Development
- Strong Database experience (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience with system design and application development
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC
- CI/CD experience
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
- Build and enhance Spring Boot Microservices and RESTful APIs
- Develop secure, high-quality production code
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Work with large datasets and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Contribute to CI/CD, resiliency, and cloud adoption initiatives
- Support modernization efforts and migration to cloud-native architectures
