Dental Assistant - Wyoming Smiles Center

About the Job Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant! Location: Cincinnati, Ohio Company: Wyoming Smiles Center Schedule: Mon-Weds 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1pm, every other Thurs 8am-5pm Are you passionate about dental care and helping patients achieve their best smiles? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team! Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
- Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Valid x-ray certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Experience taking impressions and pouring models.
- Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as fillings, crown/bridge prep, extractions.
- Ability to set up and break down operatories.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience with dental software (Open Dental) is preferred.
