Bus Drivers & Substitute Drivers

South Haven Public Schools is accepting applications for bus drivers and substitute drivers for both AM and PM routes available!

Qualifications/Skills: Have or be able to obtain CDL B Classification with air brake, school bus, and passenger endorsements. Enjoy working with children. Reliable and responsible. High school diploma or equivalent. Be punctual and dependable. Have a positive self-image. Be in good health. 5 years driving a car (minimum). No more than 3 points on license.

Hours: Mornings 6:00-9:00 and/or Afternoons 2:05-5:00. Additional trips and shuttles available for bid variance on these times, depending on run.

Training: Local classroom and on the road instruction provided. Riding time on actual runs with experienced drivers provided, as well as all other preparation for meeting necessary state requirements.
