Position Details: Perioperative RN - PRN Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO 63028 The preoperative department provides comprehensive patient preparation services that ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care. As the first stop in the perioperative continuum, the Pre-Op team plays a vital role in optimizing patients prior to their procedure. The Pre-Op environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, working closely with anesthesia, surgery, and procedural teams to support timely case starts and smooth clinical transitions. Qualifications: Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Why Mercy?
