Lunchroom/Playground Substitute 2026-27

Supervisor Position

Starting Pay: $15.75 per hour. Work Schedule: Shift is 3.0 - 3.25 hours per day; part-time/non-benefit. First day of school: August 19, 2026.

• Prairie School (K-2)
• High Point School (3-5)
• Meadow Ridge School (3-5)
• Centennial School (K-2)
• Park School (K-2)

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in working with school-age children
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to problem-solve issues quickly
• Successful experience supervising children grades K-8
• Dependable
• Possesses good judgement
• First Aid Certification a plus
• Possesses the ability to communicate and follow written and oral directions in a clear and concise manner

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist students in the lunchroom.
• Supervise and assist students on the playground.
• Assist with cleaning the lunchroom.
• Assist with distribution of lunches.
• Use Red Rover Absence Management System to accept vacancy assignments.
• May be asked to assist the school staff with light clerical duties as assigned by the principal, such as:
• copying, organizing, laminating instructional materials as directed by teachers,
• assisting in the media center with non-clerical tasks, e.g. shelving books, straightening materials.
• processing mail.
• Other tasks as assigned by the principal.

Hours: Monday - Friday. Times vary based on specific school; average time period 9:50 am - 1:15 pm.

PL/Early release days: 8:15 am - 11:15 am (average)
