Service Manager Travel-Based

A client of ours is seeking Service Manager to lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics supporting compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and related equipment. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting with team leadership, scheduling, and customer support responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise technicians performing maintenance and repairs on CNG equipment and systems
Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues at station sites
Coordinate daily schedules, service calls, and repair priorities
Monitor work quality, response times, and customer satisfaction
Order parts and supplies as needed
Support field repairs and emergency service calls when required

Qualifications

Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in industrial or energy environments
4+ years of CNG experience or 6+ years in related mechanical/electrical maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and leadership abilities
Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75%
