Mission Intern - Indianapolis, Indiana

This mission intern will join with Nazarene Global Missions, the USA/CANADA Region, the Missions Mobilization team, Indianapois District, and Shepherd Community Church of the Nazarene and Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana USA. Responsibilities Be guided in cultural bridge-building Listen and learn alongside others on navigating cultural differences to build meaningful relationships. Community Engagement and Learning Participate in cultural orientation activities, language learning opportunities, and community events to develop cross‑cultural competency while contributing to relationship‑building efforts. Support the ongoing work of the compassionate ministry center. Daily and Weekly Communication and Teamwork skills. Participate in exploring how God’s work and human dignity are revealed through cross‑cultural service. Qualifications Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with demonstrated interest in cross‑cultural work. Commitment to the organization’s mission and values, along with flexibility in role assignments. A growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ. Passion for missions, discipleship, and community engagement. Awillingness tolearn attitude.
