SERVER / SOMMELIER

Sushi Note in Sherman Oaks is looking for a server to join our team who has established wine knowledge with a passion to learn. We focus on equal parts wine service and great sushi service. We have an extensive wine list specifically curated to sushi. Duties include guiding guests through our menu, running food with accurate descriptions, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant throughout service, and providing wine and sake guidance / pairings to our guests. The compensation is an hourly rate plus part of the tip pool each evening. Dinner shifts only. We are looking for restaurant professionals that want to grow and learn in a small team environment. 2+ years of experience in upscale dining necessary. Notes: WSET Level 2 and/OR CMS Level 1 certifications are required. This role will include taking tables as a server during every shift. Wine sales commissions provided. Supervisory experience a plus, but not required.
