Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist (Bilingual Spanish a must)
Join a growing manufacturing operation as a Bilingual HR Generalist supporting a fast-paced, two-shift production environment. This position serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, helping drive employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HR programs. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys being on the production floor interacting with employees and managers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly and salaried employees
- Support employee relations, investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Conduct onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for manufacturing positions
- Partner with supervisors and managers on attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and employee questions
- Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives
- Support employee engagement, retention, and culture-building efforts
- Generate HR reports and maintain accurate personnel data
- Assist with payroll-related activities and employee timekeeping issues
- Translate and communicate HR information to Spanish-speaking employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices
- Experience supporting hourly manufacturing workforces
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels of the organization
