We’re looking for a dependable Hydro Laborer to support hydro excavation operations by assisting the Hydro Excavator Operator in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service at customer job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values safety, and takes pride in contributing to successful projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Hydro Excavator Operator with daily excavation activities and customer service requests.
• Support safe hydro excavation operations by performing general labor duties at active job sites.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors throughout each project.
• Identify and work around utility markings to promote safe excavation practices.
• Navigate construction, industrial, and customer job sites while maintaining awareness of surrounding hazards.
• Read tape measures and perform basic math calculations to support field operations.
• Recognize basic equipment issues and promptly report maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area before, during, and after each job.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily operations.
• Assist with site preparation and cleanup to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Deliver quality workmanship while helping meet customer expectations and project timelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and professionally.

What You'll Need

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of utility markings, construction practices, or job site operations preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, non-traditional schedules, overtime, and travel as business needs require.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 8–12-hour shifts, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
