Electrician

About the Role:

As an Electrician in an industrial environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities. Your expertise will be essential in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to meet operational standards and safety regulations. You will work closely with maintenance teams to troubleshoot electrical issues, perform routine inspections, and implement preventive maintenance strategies. This role demands a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work under varying conditions, including confined spaces and elevated areas. Ultimately, your contributions will support uninterrupted business operations and a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with safety codes and company standards.
• Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Work in confined spaces and elevated areas to access electrical components safely and efficiently.
• Interpret and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical diagrams to complete tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to schedule and perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment while working under special conditions.
• Be available to work overtime as needed to minimize downtime and support critical operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience working as an electrician in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and write English proficiently to understand manuals, safety instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including working in confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with solid knowledge of Motors, Starters, Drives
• Component-Based control knowledge & troubleshooting
