Academic Clinical Geneticist with Faculty Appointment

Overview Indiana University Health Medical Group in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics is seeking a Clinical Geneticist . Our pioneering human genetics department has a rich history of contribution to the understanding of numerous genetic conditions through the integration of research in genetic and genomic mechanisms, translational research in disease models, and clinical trials in rare and common genetic diseases. You will collaborate with colleagues across the IU Health system to treat some of the most complicated diagnosis known to medicine. Position Details Schedule: 5 days per week (OP 90% - IP 10%) average 20 patients per week in clinic Practice sites: IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals (adult academic health center) and Riley Children's Hospital Compassionate care and treatment of children and adults with genetic disorders Multi-disciplinary care team includes genetic counselors, dietitians, nursing and social work Faculty Appointment commensurate with experience Position Requirements American Board Certification required HIB sponsorship available Compensation Details Benefits package includes group insurance (health, dental, life disability), 401K with company match, PTO, CME allowance, relocation assistance and occurrence-based malpractice insurance coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
