RSS Talent Partners is recruiting on behalf of a leading dairy manufacturing organization in Chaseburg, Wisconsin.

Position Overview

RSS Talent Partners is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity supporting a modern dairy processing facility operating 24/7. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with automation technology, and making a direct impact on production reliability in a highly automated food manufacturing environment.

This role offers exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, including robotics, automated packaging systems, PLC-controlled equipment, utilities, refrigeration systems, wastewater treatment operations, and food-grade processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production, packaging, and robotic equipment.
• Maintain PLC-controlled systems, motors, conveyors, pumps, VFDs, instrumentation, and industrial controls.
• Support high-speed dairy processing equipment, including pasteurization and sanitary processing systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, steam, HVAC, water treatment, and facility utility systems.
• Support wastewater pretreatment operations and environmental compliance initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, OEM manuals, and technical documentation.
• Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maximize uptime while maintaining food safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in industrial manufacturing, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates who are comfortable with automation systems, food-grade equipment, and continuous improvement will be well aligned for this opportunity.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience working with PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, sensors, and industrial controls required.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, conveyors, and process equipment required.
• Experience within food, beverage, dairy, or sanitary processing environments is highly preferred.
