Job Opportunity Overview

Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Adult Headache Neurologist to become a part of our extensive neurology team, which is the largest in the San Francisco Bay area.

Practice Opportunity

The selected candidate will collaborate with our dedicated team of headache specialists, which includes three physicians, one nurse practitioner, and two nurses, to further develop a comprehensive headache program. Our headache clinic receives a wide array of referrals from within our organization, the broader San Francisco medical community, and the Sutter Northern California network.

This specialized headache program emphasizes delivering thorough longitudinal care in both outpatient and telemedicine environments.

Physicians in this role will perform various procedures, such as Botox injections, occipital nerve blocks, and SPG blocks.

About Our Neurology Group

The headache program is integrated within a larger neurology group that encompasses specialists in movement disorders, epilepsy, dementia, neuromuscular conditions, stroke, interventional radiology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology.

We host regularly scheduled neuroscience grand rounds and case conferences covering topics like neuroradiology and neuro-oncology.

The practice is situated in a newly constructed medical office building directly across from CPMC Medical Center, located in the vibrant heart of San Francisco.

• Outpatient headache clinic services in nearby Bay Area communities
• General outpatient neurology
• Inpatient consultations and on-call duties
• Clinical research in collaboration with the CPMC Neuroscience Research Institute
• Teaching opportunities for medical students and residents

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist
• Completion of a fellowship and/or board certification in Headache Neurology
