Pay Rate: $30-$34/HR on W2 Hours: M-F 2pm - 11pm with on-call work - Monthly rotation 4 hrs paid for being available, then paid hourly if actually called in. Location: 12021 South Wilmington Ave., Los Angeles CA

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: Candidate will be working in 1 building that is part of a medical campus. There will be lots of interactions with the client and patients of the facility so high level of professionalism is a must.

Team Overview: Candidate will be working as part of a team

Resource's Typical Working Day: Daily work orders are assigned PM's - Light plumbing - General maintenance - Painting/patching

Must Have Skills: Dependable Good communications skills Good at managing time Excellent customer service skills

Nice to Have Skills: Any other applicable building maintenance skills

Years of Experience: 4-5 years Education H.s. diploma or GED, trade school preferred Software skills: Microsoft Office suite experience Email experience Microsoft Teams

Interview Process: Parking notes: 1st round virtual (Zoom or Teams) with HM, 2nd round virtual (zoom or Teams) with chief building engineer

About the Role: As a HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do: Assign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done in a timely manner. Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components. Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety. Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. Work within broad guidelines and policies. Explain difficult or sensitive information.
