Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - General/Other Location: Wooster, OH Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The Radiologist will be responsible for a comprehensive case mix including ER, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy, MSK, Neuro, Pediatrics, and Diagnostic Mammography procedures. Clinical duties involve reading various modalities such as XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. In addition to diagnostic interpretations, the physician will perform light IR procedures, including: Biopsies: CT and US-guided biopsies of the thyroid, lung, bone, liver, and renal systems. Drainages: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tube placements, and cyst aspirations. Lumbar Procedures: Diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms, and epidurals. Arthrograms: Joint injections for the knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow. This role requires the ability to cover stroke and perfusion imaging and necessitates reading for multiple designated sites within the system. The physician must be proficient in reading all CT scans, with the exception of CT Cardiac studies. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certification: Required. Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) medical license is required. DEA Registration: Active federal DEA registration is required. Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report must be provided at the time of presentation, pulled within the last 30 days. Clinical Proficiency: Must be able to cover stroke/perfusion studies and read all CT modalities (excluding Cardiac CT).
