Ideal Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Effective experience with pediatric populations or within school-based settings
• Familiarity with early childhood and elementary caseloads, as well as K–12 support models
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt to a range of caseload needs, from moderate to profound
• Commitment to fostering communication, inclusion, and student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students exhibiting speech, language, and communication difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Document progress, update goals, and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
• Provide resourceful, compassionate interventions in both individual and group settings
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to advocate for student needs
