Food Service Aide - Full Time

Job Description Prepare and operate tray assembly line for patient feedings. Operate dish machine, prepare special nourishments, prepare and deliver trays. Serve and distribute food and supplies, snacks, nourishments. Serve at service counter in Employee Cafeteria and/or in catering area. Perform duties of Cashier in Employee Cafeteria. Provide food products, fill, break down and replenish stations such as salad bar, soda, pastry, cold food and hot entrees in Employee Cafeteria. Cashier Responsibilities Follows established procedures for ringing up sales accurately and making correct change for customers. Demonstrates knowledge of prices and menu items. Adheres to cashiering policies ensuring all sales accounts are rung up accurately for hospital employees, food service employees, medical doctors, students, residents, volunteers, clergy, and guests. Ensures all information is entered accurately in cash register on the appropriate key. Performs a variety of routine tasks of sanitation/replenishment in kitchen, cafeteria, and patient service areas according to departmental and regulatory standards.
