Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian. This hospital sees dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and other pocket pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and you can enjoy a flexible schedule with part-time and full-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes full GP responsibilities covering a variety of clinical areas. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA Accredited and Cat-Friendly Practices certified, offering wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, boarding, grooming, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, x-rays, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and a variety of surgical procedures such as spay and neuter, ACL reconstruction, cherry eye repair, dental care, pain management, and more.

Team
The hospital has 3 DVMs and maintains a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, allowing for abundant support to deliver high-quality care alongside a highly skilled and knowledgeable team. They prioritize intentional scheduling and staffing to ensure the best outcomes for patients and recognize their technicians as essential and valued members of the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
