Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Rapid Response)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite | 6-Week Assignment with Potential Extension

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active labor patients and titrate medications as appropriate
• Perform cervical exams, non-stress tests (NST), and assist with McRoberts maneuver
• Monitor fetal well-being using GE fetal monitoring equipment and document in EMR (CPN/Meditech)
• Operate within a 1:1 or 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio depending on acuity
• Float to Postpartum/Couplet Care as needed, providing couplet care for mother and newborn
• Work collaboratively with charge nurses, OB techs, and interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
• All required certifications must be included at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• More than 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Experience as a Transition Nurse / Baby Catching
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with organized, dynamic patient flow
