Radiologic Technologist – Mobile X-Ray | $52–$60/hr | East Bay/San Francisco, CA

Location: East Bay / San Francisco, California
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time & Part-Time
Openings: 5 positions (3 Full-Time, 2 Part-Time)
Pay: $52.00–$60.00 per hour
Schedule: Varied shifts including AM, PM, evenings, and weekends
Weekend: As needed, discussed during interview
On-Call: Yes, discussed during interview

Job Overview

We are hiring Radiologic Technologists / X-Ray Technologists to join a leading mobile diagnostic services team serving the East Bay and San Francisco, CA area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently, traveling to different healthcare facilities, and providing high-quality bedside imaging services.

You will perform mobile X-ray services at skilled nursing facilities, healthcare facilities, and other patient-care locations .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-ray examinations using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
• Transport and safely operate portable X-ray equipment at various healthcare facilities.
• Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic images for physician-ordered exams.
• Submit and transmit completed X-ray studies to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs , as needed, and transmit results to Cardiologists when required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, facility staff, patients, and healthcare teams.
• Complete required exam documentation and billing-related paperwork according to company protocols.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and portable imaging equipment.
• Provide professional and courteous service while working in a variety of healthcare environments.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification – Required
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License – Required
• Limited California license is not accepted
• Valid driver's license with a good current driving record.
• Ability to travel to multiple healthcare facilities and work independently.
• Ability to safely transport and operate portable X-ray equipment.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; candidates seeking an exemption must provide appropriate documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push and pull portable imaging equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
• Vehicle ramps and pulleys may be available to assist with equipment transport.
• Ability to frequently move equipment in healthcare facilities and patient-care environments.
