Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Adaptive Physical Education teaching credential required
• Experience designing and implementing individual and group PE programs for students with special needs
• Skilled in navigating and contributing to IEP meetings and documentation
• Strong assessment abilities for both make-up and regular minutes
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently in multiple school environments
• Commitment to promoting students’ physical, social, and emotional well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver adaptive physical education services to students across three non-public schools, primarily on-site in San Dimas, Pasadena, and Chino Hills
• Manage a moderate caseload with approximately six students, including both primary and secondary ages
• Complete thorough assessments, track student progress, and adapt lessons to individual needs
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations regarding adapted PE
• Ensure all minutes, documentation, and reporting requirements are met accurately and in a timely manner
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for all students
