Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D) will provide care for patients during the labor and delivery process, supporting both mothers and infants.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for high risk deliveries and any gestational age patients.
- Assist with EMT drop offs and manage substance abuse withdrawal cases.
- Float to postpartum and NICU units as needed.
- Ensure compliance with AWOHNN guidelines for patient ratios.
- Participate in common procedures including circulating in c-sections.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in L&D prior travel contract preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Ability to circulate in c-sections.
- COVID Vaccine Required.
