Requirement:

Must be an RN

Wound care certified preferred

Skilled experience preferred

Salaried position

Considered part of nursing management team and will have on call rotation

We treat wound vacs, pressure ulcers, surgical sites, DVT. Etc…

Knowledge on staging of wounds, treatment of wounds and ability to monitor progression

You Are Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

1. Administer medications.

2. Administer treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.

3. Assist in direct resident care as necessary.

4. Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered. Other duties:

1. Assist in admission and discharge procedures.

2. Respond to resident emergency call system as indicated.

3. Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.

4. Keep physician and family aware of change in resident's condition.

5. Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.

6. Assure continuity of services and care.

7. Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.

8. Perform specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
