We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on developing highly specialized industrial equipment used in advanced manufacturing environments.

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated custom machinery, collaborate with experienced engineers, and play a key role in designing technologies that support emerging manufacturing processes and next-generation materials.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop complex industrial machinery and mechanical systems from concept through production.
• Create innovative solutions for high-temperature, vacuum, thermal processing, and automated manufacturing applications.
• Utilize a systems-engineering approach to integrate mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing requirements into cohesive machine designs.
• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to optimize performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Analyze design performance and identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience designing industrial machinery, automated equipment, or other complex mechanical systems.
• Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks and experience using AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, materials, and system integration.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects involving mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a hands-on engineering mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
