ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, the RN will work in a fast-paced critical care environment, providing high-quality patient care in an intensive care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float between units as needed and provide support where skills are required

Working Conditions

The RN will work night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

Floating Requirements

The nurse must be flexible and willing to float between various departments as patient needs dictate. This may include working in multiple locations within the region if skillsets align.

Patient Ratios

Patient-to-nurse ratios may range from 1:1 to 1:3, depending on patient acuity and census levels.

Special Requirements

• A personal vehicle is required for this assignment.
• Must be available to respond to work within 45 minutes if called in.
• As census decreases in the ICU, the traveler nurse may be assigned to float to other departments or ministries if their skills are needed.
