Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients following physician orders and referrals
Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
Document services accurately and in a timely manner
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per practice acts and facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
Active Iowa state Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain before start)
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Discharge planning and clinical documentation
Supervision of COTAs
Interdisciplinary collaboration
Knowledge of state/federal regulations and facility guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
