Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist with ARRT certification to support outpatient and inpatient Cath Lab/EP procedures. Candidate will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring quality patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, stent placements, angioplasty, and peripheral interventions.
• Operate and troubleshoot complex imaging and procedural equipment within EP and Cath Lab settings.
• Conduct patient assessments, prepare patients, and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR system and comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Float to EP as needed, supporting elective and emergency procedures, including STEMI cases.
• Adhere to infection control policies, ensuring all clinical areas are properly sterilized and equipment is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Must hold current ARRT certification and Michigan license or pending license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a STEMI/PCI acute care facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV starts, EKG interpretation, and special procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.
• Hold BLS, ACLS certifications, and basic understanding of Impella and IABP support devices.
• Must be STEMI ready and willing to work scheduled shifts including call nights and weekends.
• Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments with minimal supervision.
