About the Position

The role primarily involves support duties for starting and stopping the radiation beam during treatment. Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems is required, specifically EPIC and Aria software. The department uses Varian equipment for radiation therapy. A Clienttion Therapist lead will be present on each shift for support and guidance. Radiologists are available on-site during treatment hours. Starting IVs is not required for this position. Weekend and holiday requirements are infrequent. There are no on-call or standby requirements associated with this role. The standard scrub color for this position is black.
