Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday 7:30/8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with Friday being a shorter day ending once 40 hours are reached
• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Float requirements include coverage at Aspirus Ironwood Outpatient Clinic
• On-call required 1 weekend per month with possible low census call
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• No holiday rotation required
• Evaluate, treat, and plan patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy Standards of Practice
• Document to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements
• Patient population includes outpatient and inpatient mix across the lifespan from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Experience with orthopedic cases including post-op TKA, THA, TSA, and outpatient neurology required
• Charting performed using Epic EMR
• Casual professional attire required (no scrubs)
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS
• Michigan State Physical Therapy licensure required
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required
• New graduates will be accepted
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Strong work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, and social candidates preferred

This hospital is an acute care facility providing a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding community. The physical therapy department serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. The facility utilizes Epic EMR for clinical documentation and maintains high standards of care in alignment with Physical Therapy Standards of Practice.
