About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 Months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 Years License: Must have a valid nursing license prior to start date Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (Advanced also acceptable) Must-Have: Experience in Triage, Circulating, Telemetry, and Nursery preferred Previous Charge Experience - Minimum 2 Years Description: The role involves working in the Labor and Delivery specialty. The nurse will attend to patients during labor and delivery processes. An experienced LDRP nurse is preferred, but labor and delivery experience is essential. The unit includes a Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery. Common procedures may include circumcision, external version, and C-section. Equipment includes Panda warmers with built-in Neo-puff and Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability. Staffing ratios are set at 1:2 couplets. Floating to other units or nearby facilities is required. Candidates must work two out of three major holidays. Two supervisor references are required. Travel experience is mandatory. Candidates must adhere to all compliance policies.
