ICQA Lead, China Grove - Full Time, Weekend Shift

Job Overview The ICQA Lead performs operational Advanced Receiving Office (ARO) duties and meets daily department goals set by the ICQA Manager. Responsibilities include staffing adjustments, process feedback, and ensuring quality compliance. The role also performs other duties as assigned. Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week; part‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. What You Will Do Conduct daily meetings to discuss the business, priorities, and shift transition. Provide process and functional direction to colleagues in the ARO Office, contributing to the receipt of merchandise within established service, accuracy, and productivity standards. Encourage colleagues to suggest process and culture improvements; champion their ideas. Ensure KPIs related to merchandise movement, service levels, accuracy, and productivity are achieved and promote continuous improvement. Work closely with the Core Trainer and ICQA Manager to ensure colleagues are trained, cross‑trained, and certified in all ARO functions and address training deficiencies. Participate in new‑hire onboarding, including facility tours and orientation. Maintain a clean and organized workplace and ensure personal safety for all colleagues. Practice open and continuous communication; provide written and verbal ideas and feedback in an easily understood manner. Guide daily operations to ensure coordination and cooperation between different areas. Direct colleagues on fulfillment center operations. Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance with positive reinforcement. Maintain the hourly process board to drive performance; adjust staffing to close performance gaps highlighted by the process board. Communicate conversations with the Operations Manager. Maintain regular and dependable attendance and punctuality. Skills You Will Need Strong verbal and written communication skills to give clear instructions, facilitate teamwork, and maintain open dialogue. Capacity to conduct operational training sessions, cross‑train colleagues, and support ongoing team development. Organizational and time‑management skills to coordinate daily operations, maintain cleanliness, and prioritize tasks to meet productivity standards. Problem‑solving skills to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions. Technology proficiency in using computers and handheld devices to access instructional documents, track productivity, and communicate with team members. Self‑motivation and initiative to work independently and address challenges as they arise. Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is encouraged. Can work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Essential Physical Requirements Heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. Prolonged periods of standing or walking around the facility; lifting at least 50 lbs.; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Supply Chain Only and Colleagues Working in a Supply Chain Facility except in locations governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement: Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi‑monthly basis, as required. Colleagues are randomly selected by a third party and must complete testing on the same workday, within 24 hours of notification.
