Senior Emergency Veterinarian

Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center is looking for a full-time Senior Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Round Rock, TX. About You You have a love of ER medicine and a desire to share that love. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll work with the hospital medical director and specialists to set medical standards for the ER department. You’ll work alongside the medical director to evaluate ER veterinarian performance. Responsibilities Encourage, develop, and support CE that elevates the quality of ER medicine in the hospital Work with the medical director to provide ER mentorship and/or guide ER Veterinarians to existing mentorship options within Thrive Schedule case reviews and/or M&M round with ER Veterinarians Assist with veterinary student extern rotation mentorship Develop an ER internship program Provide ER specific CE to our referring community Work with the ER Staff Manager and ER Lead Technician to develop ER technicians We’ll meet you where you are in your career and actively invest in your growth as both a clinician and a leader.
