Job Description
Step into an engaging school-based setting near Baton Rouge, providing pediatric speech-language therapy services where you can positively impact students’ lives. As a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist, you'll work with a welcoming interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping children achieve their communication goals. Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
Either Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
Experience or strong interest working with pediatric or school-aged populations
Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a collaborative spirit
Ability to adapt to individual student needs and varied school environments
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Provide direct therapy, conduct screenings, and monitor student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school requirements
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student growth
Participate in team meetings and related school activities as needed
